Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of tickets from Cardiff Pumpkin Festival whether directly or through our designated ticket provider and forms part of a contractual agreement with us.

By accessing this site (cardiffpumpkinfestival.com), you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

By purchasing a ticket through this website or via our ticket provider, you agree to these terms and conditions of sale as stated below.

Cardiff Pumpkin Festival reserve the right to make alterations to the program of events at any time and without notification.

  1. Amendments to Terms: Cardiff Pumpkin Festival may revise these terms and conditions at any time and update this information. You should therefore verify this page regularly and review the full terms and conditions when making a booking. Your continued use of the website constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions as amended.
     

  2. Accuracy of materials: The materials appearing on this site could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. We do not warrant that any of the materials for this Service are accurate, complete, or current. We may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. However, we do not make any commitment to update the materials.
     

  3. Payment: Tickets are offered subject to availability. All prices displayed on the website or on our social media accounts are subject to change at any time and without notification. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the ‘Buy Tickets’ button on our website.
     

  4. Tickets and Refunds: Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please take care to purchase tickets for the correct date. Tickets are emailed to guests. We cannot guarantee entry without the original purchase reference number and e-ticket. Cardiff Pumpkin Festival reserves the right to ask for identification of an individual, and admission to a session may be withheld at the company’s discretion. In this instance no refund will be due. Tickets are sold for use by the buyer only (and their party) and are not for resale for commercial gain by the holder. We reserve the right to cancel tickets and refuse entry where this condition is breached, or where we have reason to suspect there is a breech. Refunds are only available in the event of a total cancellation where the event cannot be rescheduled and where the transfer of tickets to other events (including future years) is not possible. Refunds cannot be authorised by event staff and all enquiries should be directed to the Event Manager or emailed to us at hello@cardiffpumpkinfestival.com. Any refunds made via the website will be made with 30 days of the cancelled event to the card with which the payment was made.
     

  5. The site: You will be in open fields. Be prepared for uneven, wet, slippery and muddy surfaces.
     

  6. Weather: Cardiff Pumpkin Festival is held outdoors. Rain, temperature or wind will not be considered a valid reason for cancellation unless they are considered to be a safety risk to guests, staff, or equipment. If this is the case, we will offer all ticket holders another date to come back, or a voucher to attend the following year. Cardiff Pumpkin Festival provides only limited cover for guests in the event of rain. Guests should always dress with the weather and time of year in mind. Guests who are unable to attend or who choose not to attend an event because of predicted or actual weather are not eligible for a ticket exchange or refund if the event goes ahead.
     

  7. Guests property: Vehicles and guests’ property are brought on to the event site at your own risk. Cardiff Pumpkin Festival does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or theft of any item. Cardiff Pumpkin Festival will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of guests’ property howsoever caused.
     

  8. Accessibility: Whilst we will make our best efforts for our site to be accessible, due to the terrain, the setting and the weather, this will not always be possible.
     

  9. Dogs: Guide dogs only. You will not be allowed a dog in even if the dog is in a handbag, on a lead or in a wheelbarrow! Please leave them at home.
     

  10. Costumes: We love to see your creative costumes! However, for security reasons we ask that no masks, or hoods are worn and that no imitation weapons/large props are brought as part of your costume. If you do arrive with any of these items, they will be confiscated by security.
     

  11. Force Majeure: While every effort will be made by Cardiff Pumpkin Festival to fulfil your order, where accepted, the full performance of this contract is subject to variation or cancellation by the Company consequent upon an act of God, war, strikes, pandemics, lockdowns, riots, lock-outs or other labor disturbances, fire, flood, restrictions of the use of transport, fuel or power, requisitioning, shortage of material or transport or labor or any other cause beyond the control of the Company. In the case of extreme bad weather conditions, the company reserves the right to cancel the event. If this is the case, we will offer all ticket holders another date to come back, or a voucher to attend the following year.
     

  12. Legal Liability: Cardiff Pumpkin Festival takes every effort to ensure that information contained on our website is accurate. However, no liability is accepted arising from reliance upon information contained on these pages or any other information accessed via this website. We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity. As required by law, our liability is not limited in the event of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or in relation to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
     

  13. Data Protection: The use of personal information supplied to us is governed by Cardiff Pumpkin Festival’s “Privacy Policy”. We keep all data in our secured systems and will act to keep it secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your personal information is not given to any third party unless express permission is given by the individual or as required by law. Any client testimonials or quotes will only be used on the website or other marketing material with the express permission of the individual. Under Data Protection legislation all individuals have the right to access their personal data and when processing data on your behalf we will comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and subsequent legislation as enacted.
     

  14. Disclaimer: Cardiff Pumpkin Festival will not be liable if for any reason this website is unavailable for any period. Access to the site may be suspended temporarily or permanently at any time and without notice and makes no guarantee of any specific result from use of this site. Cardiff Pumpkin Festival disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third party users. We do not guarantee that our site is secure or free from any worm or viruses. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature either onto the website or using the website in any capacity. We will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the website, including without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental and punitive and consequential damage.
     

  15. Third Parties: No part of these terms and conditions shall confer rights on any third parties and accordingly the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply.

ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SCARE FEST
 

  1. This event is NOT FOR CHILDREN. We recommend no child younger than 14 attend this event. We will not issue refunds if you are refused entry due to bringing a child younger than our recommended age.
     

  2. Parental guidance is advised, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We advise that the event is primarily designed for over 16s.
     

  3. Outside of our Haunts you may take as many photos as you'd like. However whilst in the haunt all photography, filming and recording is strictly prohibited.
     

  4. For everyone’s safety, please do not touch any of the set, props, costumes or actors. Guests that choose to ignore this rule will be removed from the site immediately.
     

  5. We are on a farm so please wear sensible footwear and wrap up warm. You will make your way through open fields and maize fields. Be prepared for uneven, wet, slippery and muddy surfaces.
     

  6. Cardiff Pumpkin Festival SCARE FEST is an outdoor event. Whilst we are prepared for all weathers, our attractions may close due to adverse weather conditions including high winds, thunder or lightning, for health and safety reasons. If individual attractions close but the site remains operational then no vouchers will be offered. If the whole site closes then we will offer all ticket holders another date to come back, or a voucher to attend the following year if an alternative date cannot be found.
     

  7. No alcohol or food are to be brought on site, bag searches may be in operation. We have an onsite bar serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as multiple food options.
     

  8. Our haunts flashing lights, strobes and special effects. If you have any conditions that may be affected by these factors, we strongly advise against visiting.
     

  9. If you, or anybody in your party, have a history of medical conditions that include heart disorders, pregnancy, claustrophobia, photosensitive forms of epilepsy, back disorders, diabetes, arthritis or asthma, then please consult a GP or medical professional about your planned attendance.
     

  10. Please note, while we will do our best to ensure our main site is wheelchair accessible, the haunt and maze experience is not wheelchair accessible due to the terrain and setting.
     

  11. When inside our haunt and maze, the use of torches or phone use of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in yours or your parties removal and expulsion from the event as a whole
